Real property also known as “real estate” is land and anything growing on, affixed to or attached to, or built upon that is immovable or any property attached directly to it. Real property is best characterized as property that doesn’t move, or that is attached to the land or permanently located within or under the land.
Examples of real properties can include buildings, ponds, canals, roads, and machinery, among other things. Real property also entails the right of use, control, and disposition of land and its attached objects.
